Come to the Guggenheim to view a special presentation of “Untitled” (Public Opinion), the 1991 installation by Felix Gonzalez-Torres that was lent from the museum’s collection to each of the venues in . . . circle through New York. Gonzalez-Torres intended his participatory installations to react to the sites where they are shown. Thus, as it traveled the circle, “Untitled” (Public Opinion) adopted different shapes and forged new relations with the communities who encountered it. Photographs of each presentation are also on view, alongside comments on the artwork by members of each project venue.
